What is the abortion pill?

The abortion pill, commonly known as medication abortion, is a secure and reliable method of terminating an early pregnancy.

When can I take the abortion pill?

You could be eligible to get a pharmaceutical abortion up to 77 days (11 weeks) following the first day of your last menstruation, depending on where you reside. You can stop your pregnancy with an in-clinic abortion if it has been 78 days or more since the start of your previous period.

Why do people choose the abortion pill?

Depending on your circumstances and personal preferences, you can select any type of abortion. Some people choose pharmaceutical abortion because it doesn’t require an in-office surgery. You are free to choose a comfortable location, such as your home, for your medication abortion. You get to choose who you want to have the abortion with, or you can do it by yourself. Many individuals believe that pharmaceutical abortion is more “natural” and less intrusive because it resembles a miscarriage.
